The lighthouse is located at 200 Miss Zola’s Dr. Port St. Joe, FL 32456 along Florida’s Forgotten Coast. The lighthouse was destroyed multiple times due to hurricanes and was later moved inland to Port St. Joe where it is currently located.

Yes! Climb the 131 steps to the viewing platform which provides 360 views of Port St. Joe and Saint Joseph’s Bay. Prepare for the inside of the lighthouse to be warm, especially in the summer! How long does it take to visit?
I would recommend planning at least 30 to 60 minutes to visit the lighthouse. My husband and I visited this lighthouse on a week day in May and there was no wait to climb. We took our time and enjoyed the view from the top. There is also a small gift shop to browse either before or after you climb the lighthouse.
Is the Cape San Blas Lighthouse worth visiting?
In my opinion, yes! One of my goals is to visit all of the Florida lighthouses so it was an easy yes from me. The fee for the lighthouse is minimal and worth climbing to the top of the tower.
